Threshold Choir

Would you like to share your singing voice with our patients? The Stein Hospice Threshold Choir honors the ancient tradition of women singing at the bedside of people who are struggling, some with living, some with dying. The lyrics are generally short and sung in rounds, chants, lullabies, hymns, spirituals or choral music.

The choir meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m. for about 1 ½ hours. The practice is held at the Stein Hospice Care Center, located on the third floor of Firelands South Campus, 1912 Hayes Ave., Sandusky. If you are interested in becoming a member contact Carole Romp, 419-625-5269, cromp@steinhospice.org. Stein recommends that choir members complete the 18-hour volunteer training program LifeCourse™.

Stein Hospice Threshold Choir is affiliated with the national Threshold Choir. For more information visit www.thresholdchoir.org.
