Who We Are
This race is a benefit fundraiser for Stein Hospice in honor of the late Patricia King Munn.
Stein Hospice serves the terminally ill and their families in Erie, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca and Lorain Counties. Over the past thirty-five years, Stein Hospice has positively impacted thousands of lives.
In the past four years, the PK5K has been embraced by the community, raised over $30,000 and welcomed hundreds of participants. We are thankful for the generous contributions of our past sponsors and participants.
New for this year!
This year, we are excited to announce the opportunity for family members and friends to get together in friendly competition in teams of 5 or more to honor a loved one, or just have fun while contributing to a good cause. Teams with 10 or more members have the opportunity to have their team name or loved one’s name listed on the back of the race t-shirt! So, get your family and friends together and stay tuned for registration information from the Stein Hospice website or the PK5K Facebook page!
Also new this year, raffle tickets are available to win prizes such as a Venetian Marina season boat dockage, tickets to Cedar Point Halloween Weekend, Kalahari Day Waterpark Admissions, Miller Ferry Passes or a Surprise Raffle Basket. Tickets are available when attending a Stein Hospice event, contacting Stein Hospice, or contacting a family member of Patricia King Munn. Cost of the tickets are $5 each or $10 for 3 tickets. Winners will be announced after the race during the award ceremony. Prize winners need not be present to receive prize.
