Description
The 2021 Community Hospice Care by Stein “Virtual” Duck Waddle will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
All purchased ducks will be dumped in a body of water and the first three ducks to cross the finish line will receive cash prizes:
1st Prize: $1,000
2nd Prize: $500
3rd Prize: $250
Due to COVID we will not be allowing a gathering of people at the Duck Waddle launch site/finish line. Therefore, the location will remain a mystery.
Instead, we will offer the race virtually.
*Note: Last year we ran into issues with doing a LIVE video. The reception was not good in the river, and therefore, caused the live streaming to not be possible. Instead, we will record the race, and then be able to post it to the Community Hospice Care by Stein Facebook page, the Stein Hospice Facebook page, and the Stein Hospice website (this page). We hope you understand these technical difficulties and will continue to support our cause!
Purchase of a duck will provide you with a duck number. Once purchased, your duck number (serial number) will be emailed to you with your receipt.
Ducks are available in three variations:
Rubber Ducky – 1 Duck ($10)
Lucky Ducks – 3 Ducks ($25)
Duck Squad – 12 Ducks ($100)
