“We Honor Veterans,” a campaign sponsored by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, evaluates Veteran hospice programs across the country. A hospice must complete four levels of stringent requirements to reach full partnership. Stein Hospice reached full partnership in May, 2012.
Stein Hospice is a member of the Hospice Veteran Partnership of Ohio, a coalition of Veterans Affairs facilities, end-of-life care and community organizations and community hospices. Stein was one of the first to join the partnership and has served as a model program.
