Bereavement Support Groups are available to Stein Hospice patients/families as well as any grieving members of the community.
Adult Support Groups:
- Serenity Seekers: 6 week program for the loss of any adult loved one, offered throughout the year.
- Healing Hearts: ongoing monthly support group for graduates of Serenity Seekers.
- With the Guys: 6 week program for adult men who have lost a loved one, offered with demand throughout the year.
- Rain’s End: 6 week program for adults who have lost a loved one through suicide, offered with demand throughout the year.
- Clear Skies: on ongoing monthly support group for graduates of Rain’s End.
- M.I.S.S. Y.O.U.: for men and women who are grieving loss through miscarriage, infant death and stillbirth. Offered with demand throughout the year.
- A New Dawn: 6 week program for adult survivors of divorce, offered with demand throughout the year.
- A New Day: an ongoing monthly support group for graduates of A New Dawn.
Children/Adolescents Support Groups:
- Recovery Riders: 5 week program for children ages 6-12 who have lost a loved one through death, offered with demand throughout the year
- R.U.O.K.: 5 week program for adolescents 13-18 who have lost a loved one through death, offered with demand throughout the year
- Tough Cookies: 6 week program for children ages 6-12 who have had a loss through separation/divorce, a temporary or permanent placement out of their home or parents/caretakers have been incarcerated, offered with demand throughout the year.
- Next Step: 6 week program for adolescents ages 13-18 who have had a loss through separation/divorce, a temporary or permanent placement out of their home or parents/caretakers have been incarcerated, offered with demand throughout the year.
- Club USA: 11 week program for children and adolescents who have a loved one in the military who has been deployed, offered with demand throughout the year.
- Camp Good Grief: a weeklong summer day camp for children ages 5-13 who have experienced any type of loss. Read more.
